Fruit noodles, also called fruit leather or fruit roll-ups, are made by pulping locally-grown, hand-picked apples into a puree with some boysenberry juice concentrate. Using our ‘magic’ drying process, the puree dries into a tasty, slightly chewy sheet, that we slice up like fettuccine noodles. There you have it. Since 1933, our family has grown some of New Zealand’s favourite apple varieties. More recently, we’ve been coming up with new ways for everyone, both across New Zealand and around the world to taste our delicious apples. Developing our own air drying technology, so we can create your Boysenberry and Apple Fruit Noodles and deliver from seed to store was the next step.
We made a decision that we would only use fruit grown the same way as our apples. Naturally, with no GMOs, and by people passionate about creating the best local fruit possible. We work closely with our trusted, local boysenberries, so we know exactly what is going into your fruit noodles.
